ArmorPro vs. ArmorLite: Which Case Suits Your Style and Needs?

When selecting a case for your iPhone 16 Pro Max, protection is key. At Benks, we’ve developed two premium cases — the ArmorPro and the ArmorLite — both offering drop protection as a core feature. While they share similar goals, they are designed with distinct characteristics to suit different user preferences. Whether you're after extreme military-grade defense or a thinner, lightweight feel with strong anti-drop functionality, this guide will help you find the case that’s perfect for your lifestyle.

2. Drop Protection

ArmorPro:

ArmorPro is 1.7mm frame, The ArmorPro case offers ultimate protection, exceeding military-grade drop standards with its InvisiWarrior texture and shockproof airbags for added cushioning. This year’s model also features an updated frame for improved grip and handling.

ArmorLite:

In response to customer feedback from last year, we developed the ArmorLite case for users who wanted a thinner option without compromising on protection. The ArmorLite features a 1.0mm frame, much thinner than the ArmorPro's 1.7mm, yet it still provides robust edge protection. To further enhance its anti-drop capabilities, the ArmorLite includes an additional microfiber lining on the back panel, which reinforces its protection while maintaining a slim profile.

3. Back Panel Thickness and Weight

ArmorPro:

The ArmorPro features a 1.4mm back panel, which strikes a balance between durability and weight. Its thinner back panel is complemented by the InvisiWarrior texture and shockproof airbags built into the case, allowing it to deliver military-grade drop protection without adding unnecessary bulk. This makes the ArmorPro ideal for users who want strong protection with a lighter, more manageable feel.

ArmorLite:

The ArmorLite, on the other hand, has a thicker 1.75mm back panel. This extra thickness comes from the microfiber lining added inside the case, which provides enhanced drop protection by absorbing shock more effectively. However, this added layer makes the ArmorLite slightly heavier and thicker compared to the ArmorPro. The thicker back panel reinforces the case’s ability to withstand drops while still maintaining a sleek design.

4. Suction Power and Weight

Both the ArmorPro and ArmorLite cases are MagSafe compatible, offering reliable magnetic connections for charging and accessories.

ArmorPro case has a 12N suction power, ensuring a strong magnetic hold, while the ArmorLite has a slightly lower 9N suction power due to the thicker microfiber back panel. However, the ArmorLite is also lighter, weighing 29.5g, compared to the 37.4g weight of the ArmorPro.

Conclusion

Both the ArmorPro and ArmorLite cases are designed with drop protection as their core purpose, offering exceptional defense for your iPhone 16 Pro Max. The ArmorPro case exceeds military-grade protection standards, making it perfect for users who need ultimate ruggedness. On the other hand, the ArmorLite case was developed for those who prefer a thinner, lighter case while still enjoying the benefits of drop protection, thanks to its slim frame and microfiber-reinforced back panel.
