Rumors You May Want to Know about New iPhone 15

With more than five months to go before the release of the iPhone 15 series, leaks about the new phone have never stopped. As the new product launch event approaches, the credibility of these leaks is gradually increasing.

Recently, a more detailed set of leaks has emerged, including CAD images, real photos, and photos of the screen glass. At this time, the accuracy of these leaks is relatively high, so let's take a look at some of the upgrades.

Titanium Alloy Shell

One of the major upgrades for the iPhone 14 Pro is the use of a titanium alloy shell with rounded edges instead of stainless steel, which should improve the feel compared to the current straight edges.

Apple will continue to reduce the size of the bezels this year, and with the more rounded design of the side bezels, the front visual effect of the new iPhone series should be improved again.

New Color for iPhone 15 Pro

In terms of appearance and color, the iPhone 15 Pro may bring a deep red color, which will be launched alongside white, black, and gold. However, the dark purple color of the iPhone 14 Pro this year will be discontinued in the new generation.

Larger Rear Camera

According to the CAD file, the imaging system is still the focus of the upgrade for the iPhone 15 Pro this year. The iPhone 15 Pro will use a brand-new sensor technology that can capture more light and reduce overexposure or underexposure.

At the same time, the rear camera module may be larger than the previous generation, and the rear camera module may protrude more than the previous generation. The 15 Pro Max is expected to adopt a different combination plan from the Pro model this year, equipped with a periscope camera that supports 10x optical zoom.

USB-C Interface

Multiple leaks have shown that the new iPhone series will have a new interface design. The Lighting interface, which has been used for many years, will be replaced by the USB-C interface.

However, there are reports that the higher-positioned iPhone 15 Pro series will support USB 3.2, while the two lower-positioned iPhone models will support the USB 2.0 protocol. The Lightning interface used in currently sold iPhones is based on the USB 2.0 protocol.

Touch-sensitive Volume and Mute Buttons

The all-new iPhone 15 Pro will reportedly use a solid-state touch-button design and is expected to combine the separate "+" and "-" volume buttons into a large long press button. At the same time, this button design adjustment will also cover the familiar mute switch.
